Because people are getting more conscious about health and safety. And the major impact of corona has lied on students. Because their studies ets highly disturbed. The government has to change the education system because of the pandemic. Here I am with 5 crafty ideas to spend summer holidays.

Spending summer holidays are the most enjoyable moments in a student’s life. We can do the most important things that we can’t do because of school during summer holidays. Here are 5 craft ways to spend summer holidays.

1. COMPLETE YOUR WISHLIST

The very first thing that you can do is completing your wishlist. The whole year we were ordered to halt our wishes and demands till summer holidays. So, now you have holidays, you must use this crucial time for completing your wishlist. I know all wishes can’t be completed, but the wishes which are under your control and can be completed within the limits of parents, then we must make use of this chance.

2. GIVE THIS TIME TO ART

Summer holidays are quite a good time for learning art forms. You can learn new art forms like music, instruments playing, dance, swimming, karate, boxing, basketball, painting, and many more. Learning art is the best use of time. Because you can easily develop your lifestyle through an art form. You can also add a skill in your skill set. Skill development is the major demand of today’s competitive world. Learning professional art can become a career choice for your future. You can get a reality check by trying a new art form.

You can also join competitions held during your summer break. Many organizations conduct competitions during summer holidays to promote their products. If you have skill and you want an outside exposure, then you must join competitions. These competitions can help you in growing your talent. You can also get guidance for the future. Maybe you also win the competition and prize money. Competitions can inculcate sportsman abilities in your personality. So, join competitions if you get the opportunity to join one.

One of the crafty methods for spending summer holidays is reading. I know we read the whole year in school. But here, I am referring, reading newspapers and journals. So, if you use newspapers and journals , then some of your digital screen time will be shared by hard copies of newspapers and magazines. So, do readings and spend your time wisely.

CONCLUSION:

Spending summer holidays is a very happy and enjoyable period of the year. We can’t waste it only by sleeping and playing. We must use some of the time for improving our behavioral skills and intellectual abilities. Giving some efforts can develop your personality and you can also get bright exposure at school ater improves personality.

10 Big Mistakes To Avoid When Planning A Trip To Thailand

Many people know that smoking vape in Thailand is prohibited by law, but there are at least 8 other things that you need to remember when planning a trip to this country. Even if you buy a tour through a tour operator and do not plan to leave the hotel for a long time, many unpleasant surprises on the street can be avoided if you read this article.

1. Book a hotel in remote areas of the city without taking into account proximity to places planned for visiting and seeing
Bangkok is a big city. Very big. But you do not want to spend an hour or two, or even more of your precious time, only on the round trip? And it will be a mistake to book a hotel, guided exclusively by its cheapness and worthy (judging by the photo on the reservation website) rooms. Of course, often the farther from the central areas of the city, the cheaper. But taking into account the fact that in Bangkok, most likely, you will only come to your room to take a shower and sleep, at the hotel you will not need a swimming pool, fitness center, SPA-salon and a selection of additional infrastructure. In the central areas of the city (for example, Pratunam or Siam Square and nearby) there are more than enough new, inexpensive guesthouses and modest hotels such as Bed and Breakfast. Also, an absolute advantage of these areas will be the proximity of Skytrain.

2. To devote too little time to Bangkok
Of course, most of us can afford a short vacation. But, coming to Thailand, it would be a big mistake to make the capital an exclusive destination for a trip to Koh Samui, Phuket or Pattaya. Spend at least two, or better, three or four days in Bangkok.

3. Eat at a hotel restaurant, expensive restaurants and cafes, and McDonald's chain restaurants
Of course, everyone has different preferences in food. But! Bangkok is considered to be the capital of delicious street food. Here and there, literally at every step, you will find carts and trays, which are fried, steamed and boiled. We do not urge you to immediately rush to eat fried grasshoppers (although this is delicious) or green catfish papaya salad with raw crabs. But delicious donuts 5 steps from the hotel exit to morning coffee, pad thai rice noodles, breaded fried chicken, spring rolls, pork leg stewed in a sweet sauce with rice, a bowl of soup with chicken, pork and noodles, intercepted literally on the go or at a table right on the sidewalk, they will give you the strength to continue the Bangkok marathon. And if any fears remain, then the usually activated carbon is sold in any 7-eleven or Family Mart called carbon.

4. Refuse to use public transport due to not knowing the city
There are two types of metro in the capital of Thailand: this is the MRT underground metro and the unusual for us BTS aerial metro, it is also Skytrain. Schemes are on the Internet, on maps of Bangkok and at every metro station. Far from everyone knows that from the airport in 30 minutes and 45 Thai baht you can get to Skytrain directly to one of the central areas of Pratunam. Returning to the choice of hotels, according to the author, it would be optimal to stay at a hotel along the light green Skytrain line (aka Sukhumvit line) from Victory Monument station to Nana station. It is not far from the old city with all its attractions, Yaowarat Chinatown, Khao San Road and the largest shopping centers in Siam Square. On weekends, you can get directly to Mochit Station and spend the whole day at Chatuchak Market! (Clarification: due to the peculiarities of building directly in the old center of Bangkok, there is no subway yet.) Yes, and just passing a few stations back and forth, exploring the city from above, will be a curious experience. Besides, it is very convenient to take the Bangkok bus stations Mochit or Ekkamai by overground subway if you plan to travel by regular bus to any part of the country. It will also be interesting to ride a shuttle boat - Bangkok is dotted with canals up and down, some of the canals are navigable, and boats are the usual transport.

And yes, if you decide to take a taxi, check with the driver before starting the trip whether he will turn on the meter. There are thousands of them in Bangkok, and if the first refuses, the second will agree.

5. Take frivolous things and documents. Get caught by fortune-tellers or tuk-tuk taxi drivers
As in any tourist city in the world, thieves and pickpockets hunt in Bangkok. It is better to hang the backpack on the chest, the bag across the chest and arm, do not wear massive gold chains and earrings.

Do not start a conversation with the Indians - fortune tellers - they masterfully lure money. There are frequent cases when a family of Indians or Pakistanis comes up to you in a store and asks to show what large Thai bills look like. Pretend that you don't understand, because as soon as the bill with the aim of "considering better" is transferred to the head of the family, you can't prove anything. Do not succumb to the assurances of tuk-tuk taxi drivers that, for example, the Royal Palace, which you were heading to, is closed right now, and it can take you to a good leather or souvenir store before it opens for nominal money. He makes money on you, you lose money and valuable time. The author of these lines, after repeated and in most cases unsuccessful experience using tuk-tuk, recommends not using this transport.

6. Smoking in inappropriate places, in particular, electronic cigarettes (vape)
We will not go into details, but smoking electronic cigarettes and hookah in Thailand is prohibited. It is a fact. Do not even put electronic cigarette and liquid in it in your luggage, because if you find these objects when crossing the border, your stay in Bangkok may be delayed for reasons beyond your control. At the same time, tobacco smoking is allowed, but in strictly designated places. You can safely smoke if you see an ashtray and / or the inscription Smoking place. Smoking in the temples and near them, on the street, as well as a cigarette butt was thrown to the ground - "because I do not see an ashtray or urns" (and this is a problem in Bangkok), can cost you 2,000 baht. And in Bangkok, a foreigner is fined more likely than anywhere else in the country. If you apologize for a long time and show remorse with all your appearance, the amount of the fine can be slightly reduced. The author once went through this experience himself. And do not try to prove to the policeman that a Thai man smokes 5 meters away from you (tobacco or vape - it doesn't matter) - what you can do with him doesn't mean that you are allowed.

7. Do not bargain at all or bargain everywhere and too persistently
In Bangkok, everyone is selling everywhere and everyone. You can and even need to bargain in the markets and souvenir shops, on street stalls with souvenirs and other goods. Here bargaining is a national tradition. There is a small trick - your negotiations with the seller, for example, a wooden figurine of an elephant, was unsuccessful, and he does not agree to the proposed price. Pretend to leave. If they call you and say "Okay" - fine, you will get what you want for your price. If you are not asked to return, it means that the seller is not interested in the proposed transaction. Do not bargain if the thing is not of interest to you, do not waste time with the seller. Do not bargain for food on stalls or in street cafes, or for a bottle of water near the temple. You should agree that the seller had to buy this water and bring it (bring) it to where you buy it.

8. Trying to buy marijuana or other drugs
In Bangkok, you can buy everything. Even what is forbidden. But buying a cigarette with marijuana or amphetamine tablets, not to mention other more serious drugs, can significantly ruin your vacation. Most of these nimble businessmen work in tandem with a policeman who, as soon as the substance has moved into your hands or pocket, appears most unexpectedly from around the corner. You will have to give these "partners" all the money that you have with you, and perhaps ask your relatives to send more, just so as not to bring the case to the police station with all the ensuing consequences. Thai anti-drug legislation is very harsh.

9. Strictly follow the plan for visiting the sights of the city
In the daytime, if you take minimal precautions (as in any big city in the world), any areas of Bangkok are reasonably safe. Add some adventure to your walks. We do not urge you to go looking for adventure in the Bangkok red-light districts (although it might be very interesting to someone) but allow yourself a walk in the old city or Chinatown just where your eyes look. And it is possible that you accidentally get, for example, to the amulets market near the Royal Palace, to the weapons quarter on the canals, to the Golden Mountain Temple, to the Pak Klong Talat flower market or a host of another no less curious places of the City of Angels.

About the author: Melisa Marzett is a traveler with much experience in this area let alone with experience in writing working for writing-help at the time. She reads a lot, listens more than talks, shares more than gives and observes the world.

Why are Travel Discounts Necessary?

Travelling has always been everyone’s lifelong dream. And interestingly, it’s not confined to any social class. Whether you belong to the middle class or the upper, you wish to travel as much as possible. The travel decisions of middle classes largely rely on their budget. On the other hand, rich choose their location on the basis of quality. However, we all know the situation of price hikes all across the globe.

This has affected the travel plans of nearly everyone who is on a budget. And this is nothing, but sad and stressful at the time. After all, everyone has the right to globetrotting and there shouldn’t be any factor stopping them.

In this scenario, an average person starts hunting cheap deals and discounts to make their plan effective. And why wouldn’t they? An average salaried person cannot spend their entire savings on travel alone. They have other things to look forward. They have families, utilities, and general expenses to look after to. Hence, the existence of discounts and deals is a blessing in disguise. We will tell you how is it so.

For once, imagine if there was no concept of discounts. It horrified you, right? Not everyone can access everything at full prices. Their endless financial responsibilities don’t let them do this. Everyone wishes to travel around and buy branded stuff. But not all are able to do them. Discounts apps and vouchers come to their rescue.

Discounts have allowed so many people to enjoy things which they couldn’t otherwise. Especially travel. Travelling is not an easy thing to do when you are low on funds. Only transport expenses consume so much of your money. For instance, there’s no air ticket less than Rs. 50,000. Travel deals on tickets help people to save on ticket expenses. Which is obviously great. By the way, GoSpark has amazing travel deals. Check them out.
After the ticket and transport, the major cost involves accommodation. Imagine going on a 10-day long trip with 15k per night rent. Discount apps have started offering reasonable discounts on hotel booking which saves a portion of people’s incomes. So many people simply cancel their plans only because they are unable to afford insane rents of rooms.
The advantages of travel discounts do not stop here. When you go somewhere, you never want to come back without having a tour of the main attractions. And unfortunately, the majority of the tourist attractions have insanely high ticket prices. If we think practically, how can a common man afford to buy tickets worth Rs 1,500 each? That simply makes Rs. 7,500 for the family of five. And this estimated expense if for just one attraction only. There are infinite other places which people wish to see when celebrating vacations.
Thank the Lord for discount apps. They have been offering exciting discounts on the tickets for tourist attractions as well. This brings so much relief for an ordinary person who saves all year round for this one holiday season.

Oh, and how can we skip the food part? Obviously, you can't leave a tourist destination without trying its famous cuisine. Everyone talks about it so you desperately want to try it too. And obviously, you should. You should make the most out of your vacation. But what happens if the prices are way out of the league? Without any doubt, it's disheartening. But it's okay. We have discount apps which allow you to have the best food without paying through the nose. If you are travelling this year, you can find mind-blowing travel deals in Pakistan on discount apps.

In simple words, coupons and deals have enabled people to have all the fun in the world without getting financially drained. It's actually great to see the concept of discount apps emerging in Pakistan. With escalating inflation and limited purchasing power, it has become difficult to go for leisure activities.

Travelling Abroad? Looking for an International Card? Here are Your Best Options

Using a credit card when travelling abroad is a really expensive affair. Currency conversion fee, foreign transaction fee, and the payment network fee can drain your bank balance. That’s why many travelling abroad opt for a prepaid card that is loaded with the currency of the place they’re visiting. Is it still the cheapest way of spending your money abroad? Let’s find out.

Forex Cards

These are prepaid cards. Banks as well as travel agencies sell forex cards. A single forex card can be used in multiple currencies without the need of carrying multiple cards for each currency. Here’s how the card works – you have to pay a fee to purchase the card which usually is around Rs.500 + GST (it can cost more depending on the card). Then every time you reload the currency, you will be charged a reload fee (usually below Rs.100). The amount to be reloaded to the foreign currency will be converted to the foreign currency at the bank’s or travel agency’s exchange rate for that day, which may not give you the best value for money.
The catch with forex cards is that if you’re travelling to multiple countries having different foreign currencies, then you have to reload money separately for each of those currencies. This can become expensive again, but not nearly as much as credit cards. But you will be charged a fee each time you check your balance, receive alert messages, and so on.

NiYO Card

This is also a prepaid card, however, it is an INR card but you don’t need to load money for different currencies. NiYO has partnered up with DCB Bank and Yes Bank to provide this card.
The card comes with a zero mark-up charge because the currency on the card at any given time will be INR and when you make a payment in a foreign currency, it will be converted to the prevailing Visa exchange rate to complete the transaction. This rate is usually very close to the inter-bank rate, one of the lowest exchange rates, hence, good value for money.
The card is supported by their online banking app where you can conveniently check your balance, view the prevailing exchange rates for the day for numerous currencies and so on. You can load money into this card via NEFT and use it worldwide in more than 150 countries. There are no charges for using the app for different functions.

Credit Cards

As mentioned earlier, credit cards are very expensive to use overseas because you are charged a foreign mark-up fee from the bank which is usually around 3.5% and can go up to 5%, the payment network fee, which is usually around 1%, and other fees. The only advantage of using a credit card overseas is that if you have a travel credit card, you could enjoy travel benefits such as earning accelerated miles on foreign currency transactions, complimentary travel insurance, airport lounge access, and so on. However, purely from a payment perspective, it is the most expensive on this list.

Here are some additional fees that can be charged to your card when you use it overseas:
  • Cash withdrawal fee. This is charged by your card issuer.
  • ATM withdrawal fees – fees charged by the foreign ATM for withdrawing cash.
  • Fee charged for using an out-of-network ATM.
  • Dynamic currency conversion fee. This fee is charged if you wish to pay in INR.
If you’re travelling abroad any time soon and are looking for the cheapest way to pay for your purchases overseas, then do your research thoroughly to check what charges are levied on these cards. Pick one that works best for you.
